For this book, we are looking to curate a variety of insightful, informative, and inspiring short-essays and stories written by people directly involved in clean water work in the Lake Champlain Basin. These essays will be interspersed throughout the book at intervals between and alongside the stunning photography of Mike Sipe.
We are currently seeking 600-1000 word pieces that might fit into one or several of the following categories: Education, Ecology, Conservation, Journalism, Literature, Policy, and/or Advocacy.
Ideally, each piece stands on its own as informative, entertaining, and inspiring. The net effect of this, we hope, is that readers who spend any time with our book will come away feeling more informed and empowered to get involved in the protection and restoration of their local watershed and the lake as a whole.
If you or someone you know might be interested in submitting a piece for this exciting project, please drop us a line below.
